Job summary

Client of Angel Gulf Jobs in Kuwait City seeks a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our fabrication team, focusing on welding, cutting, grinding and assembly of metal structures in a workshop/site environment. You will read fabrication drawings, interpret welding symbols and perform ARC, MIG, TIG welding as required, while ensuring quality, dimensional accuracy and safety standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant experience as a Welder/Fabricator.
• ITI/Trade Certificate in Welding/Fabrication preferred.
• Hands-on experience in metal fabrication and welding.
• Understanding of fabrication measurements and techniques.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and quality.
• Physically fit for workshop/site environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding fabrication, cutting, grinding and assembly of metal structures.
• Read and interpret fabrication drawings, welding symbols and measurements.
• Prepare materials by cutting, beveling, cleaning and aligning before welding.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Perform welding fabrication cutting grinding and assembly of metal structures and components
• Read and interpret fabrication drawings welding symbols and measurements
• Prepare materials by cutting beveling cleaning and aligning before welding
• Perform ARC SMAW MIG GMAW and TIG GTAW welding as required
• Fabricate structures frames supports brackets platforms and metal components
• Carry out proper fit-up tack welding alignment and final welding
• Inspect welds and fabricated components for quality and dimensional accuracy
• Repair welding defects and perform grinding and finishing work
• Follow workplace safety procedures and project quality standards

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of MIG TIG ARC SMAW and gas cutting
• Experience working with carbon steel stainless steel and mild steel
• Ability to weld in different positions such as 1G 2G 3G and 4G
• Knowledge of welding machines electrodes filler rods shielding gases and welding parameters
• Skilled in gas cutting plasma cutting grinding drilling and metal preparation
• Ability to use measuring tapes vernier calipers levels squares and other fabrication tools
• Ability to read and understand fabrication drawings and welding symbols
• Knowledge of weld inspection and basic quality control requirements

Candidate Requirements
