Job summary

Hilton in Kuwait is seeking a Linen Room Uniform Attendant to support laundry operations and ensure an excellent guest experience. Responsibilities include checking uniforms for cleanliness, liaising with laundry suppliers, and maintaining a uniform deposit system.

Job description

As a Linen Room Uniform Attendant, you support laundry operations to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience. You will also liaise with laundry suppliers and ensure a uniform deposit system is in place.

Responsibilities

• Check uniforms for cleanliness and condition, carrying out minor repair work if required.
• Provide support to the laundry function when needed.
• Complete wash cycles, fold linen, and ensure correct storage.
• Liaise with laundry suppliers and dry cleaners regarding uniform cleaning.
• Maintain a uniform deposit system in coordination with Finance.
• Control outgoing uniforms, including for new and current team members.
• Conduct uniform stock takes as requested.
• Maintain par stock levels.
• Store soiled and damaged linen in soiled bags and dispose of correctly.
• Keep the linen room and uniform store clean and organized.
• Report maintenance and hazard issues.
• Comply with hotel security, fire regulations, and all health and safety legislation.
