Job summary

A Planning Engineer role for a thermal power plant in Kuwait requires hands-on experience with Primavera P6 or MS Project to build and maintain schedules. Qualifications

• Relevant experience with thermal power plant projects.
• Strong knowledge of project planning and scheduling.
• Experience with Primavera P6 and/or MS Project.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and update project schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project.
• Monitor project progress against the approved baseline schedule.
• Coordinate with engineering, construction, commissioning, and subcontractor teams.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
• Track project milestones, critical activities, and potential schedule delays.
• Analyze schedule deviations and recommend corrective actions.
• Monitor manpower, equipment, and resource requirements.
• Prepare look-ahead schedules and support project planning meetings.
• Coordinate with site teams to ensure timely completion of project activities.
