Job summary

Core for Infrastructure Works Co. W.L.L by Al Nisf Group in Kuwait City is seeking a Senior Planning Engineer to develop and maintain integrated EPC project schedules covering engineering, procurement, construction, testing, commissioning and handover.

You will lead baseline development, monitor progress, perform delay analysis, and prepare forecasts and reports for management and clients. Proficiency in Primavera P6 and advanced Excel is essential, with Power BI experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a relevant discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in Project Planning.
• Minimum 3 years of experience leading integrated EPC schedules.
• Strong proficiency in Primavera P6 and advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Strong knowledge of critical-path analysis, resource loading, and progress measurement.
• Experience in Engineering and Procurement schedule integration.
• Strong experience in delay analysis and recovery planning.
• Experience in baseline development and progress updates.
• Strong English technical reporting and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain integrated project schedules covering Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Testing, Commissioning, and Handover.
• Develop logic-linked baseline schedules and maintain critical paths.
• Monitor resources, progress, and project performance against approved baselines.
• Establish and maintain progress measurement and reporting systems.
• Prepare look-ahead plans and updated project forecasts.
• Analyse delays, identify schedule impacts, and develop recovery options.
• Consolidate planning inputs from Project Managers, discipline engineers, procurement, and construction teams.
• Prepare clear progress, performance, and schedule reports for management and clients.
• Monitor engineering and procurement activities to ensure alignment with construction requirements.
