Job summary

Kuwait Packing Materials Manufacturing Company is seeking an experienced operator for a 6-color central drum flexographic press to print on kraft paper. You will set up, monitor color registration, adjust print alignment, and perform basic maintenance to ensure consistent output with minimal waste.

Applicants should have 3-5 years of experience operating flexographic presses, especially central drum CI type, and be able to read production specifications.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 3-5 years of experience operating flexographic printing presses.
• Hands-on experience with central drum CI flexographic presses.
• Experience printing on kraft paper or similar paper substrates.
• Knowledge of 6-color printing processes and color matching.
• Ability to read and interpret job orders and production specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and quality focus.
• Basic computer skills for machine control and data entry.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate the 6-color central drum flexo press.
• Load kraft paper rolls and prepare inks.
• Adjust color registration, tension, and print alignment.
• Monitor print quality during production runs.
• Troubleshoot and fix print defects smudges misalignment color mismatch.
• Perform minor machine maintenance and cleaning.
• Meet daily production targets and reduce material waste.
• Follow safety and quality standards.
• Coordinate with the production team and supervisor.
