seagullhr in Kuwait seeks an experienced Assistant Manager - Project Design Engineer (Electrical) to lead high-voltage substation design and engineering for major projects. The role focuses on detailed design reviews, vendor coordination and delivering compliant electrical deliverables for 400 kV, 300 kV and 132 kV substations.

The candidate should have proven HV substation design expertise, knowledge of GIS equipment, transformers and protection systems, and be able to coordinate with site

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering meeting Kuwait standards.
• Minimum 15 years of relevant professional experience.
• Maximum age 45 years.
• Experience in high-voltage substation design and engineering.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and review detailed electrical substation engineering designs, including layouts, earthing, cable trays, lighting, small power systems and SLDs.
• Review vendor drawings and technical documentation for GIS, power transformers, shunt reactors, firefighting systems and cables.
• Perform or review cable sizing, earthing, lightning protection, lighting, cable tray, DC UPS and heat-load calculations.
• Review electrical schemes, power and control cable schedules, and relay-setting calculations.
• Support tender estimation and technical evaluation activities.
• Coordinate with site teams to address design clarifications and project engineering requirements.
• Ensure design deliverables align with standards and project specs.
