Job summary

SSH International seeks an experienced Project Architect to lead the design of large, multi-disciplinary projects from concept through technical development. You will supervise architects and CAD technicians, ensuring timely submissions and strong coordination with engineering and QS teams.

The role demands a minimum of 10 years' experience and CAD proficiency (AutoCAD, 3D Revit). The firm operates in Kuwait with deep regional exposure and a collaborative, design-forward culture.

Qualifications

• University qualifications in architecture are required.
• Minimum 10 years' experience in architectural or multi-disciplinary practice.
• Must be fully CAD literate (AutoCAD).
• Ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously; 2+ projects.
• Experience leading project teams of architects and CAD technicians.
• Specialist knowledge: 3D Revit.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and interpret client requirements to shape concept designs.
• Develop project team structure, size, and schedule with the Project Manager.
• Collaborate with Project Manager to set realistic project goals and timelines.
• Keep Head of Department fully informed on project status.
• Create or supervise concept designs for client approval.
• Oversee architects in evolving approved designs with other disciplines.
• Ensure timeous statutory submissions and contract-compliant interim reviews.
• Supervise design development and coordination with Engineering and QS.
• Manage working drawings, details, schedules, specifications and tender docs.
