Job summary

Anton Oilfield Services Group is recruiting a Maintenance Engineer for our On Sync Energy Management Services Department. The role focuses on maintenance, inspection, and troubleshooting of compressor systems, including MP/LP units, in Kuwait City.

You will collaborate with maintenance teams to resolve mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation issues while adhering to global standards. Requirements include a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and at least six years in compressor maintenance

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• Minimum 6 years of compressor maintenance experience in oil & gas, refinery, or petrochemical.
• Strong hands-on experience with medium- and low‑pressure compressors and rotating equipment.
• Familiarity with international standards and codes for compressor maintenance.
• Experience in troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation issues.
• Knowledge of HAZOP, risk assessment, lifecycle cost analysis, and reliability improvement is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, inspection, and troubleshooting of rotating equipment, especially MP and LP compressors.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation issues with maintenance teams.
• Participate in HAZOP reviews for compressor systems and support action on recommendations.
• Ensure maintenance and operations comply with relevant international standards and codes.
• Conduct lifecycle cost analysis, risk assessments, and reliability improvement studies.
• Provide technical support during project execution and maintenance to improve compressor performance and safety.
