Job summary

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 8 years of experience in mechanical maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and overhauling in Oil & Gas, refinery, or petrochemical industry.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and overhauling of mechanical equipment and machinery.
• Diagnose mechanical faults and carry out appropriate corrective maintenance.
• Supervise and guide junior or less experienced maintenance personnel.
• Maintain equipment cleanliness and perform general housekeeping activities.
• Maintain accurate equipment maintenance records and reports.
• Identify and request required spare parts, tools, materials, and maintenance supplies.
• Support mechanical piping repair, fabrication, and installation activities, including material identification and selection of appropriate tools and equipment.

Qualification Requirements

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and overhauling of equipment in the Oil & Gas, refinery, or petrochemical industry.

OR

• Secondary School Certificate.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in mechanical maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and overhauling in the Oil & Gas, refinery, or petrochemical industry.
• Hands-on experience with pumps, turbines, compressors, engines, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, coolers, valves, and piping systems.
• Ability to lead and guide maintenance personnel.
• Additional experience in piping repair, fabrication, and installation (up to 24-inch diameter), including material identification, is an advantage.
