Job summary

Archirodon Group N.V is seeking a Senior Planner for a Kuwait-based EPC project. The role involves preparing baselines and revisions, coordinating with engineering, procurement, and construction teams, and leading planning controls.

You will ensure progress measurement, reporting, and timely updates across engineering, procurement, and commissioning phases. The candidate should have a university degree in engineering and at least 10 years of relevant construction experience, including EPC

Qualifications

• University degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years relevant experience in construction industry at similar level.
• Experience in EPC Projects above US$100M with ADNOC (or equivalent) with direct involvement in Engineering and Procurement is essential.
• Previous employment with leading EPC contractors is highly preferable.

Responsibilities

• Prepares Contract Baseline Schedule and/or Revised Schedules in coordination with the Project Team for EPC phases.
• Assists the Lead Planner at project start in reports and registers for planning controls, progress, and reporting.
• Controls Planning & Scheduling, Progress Measurement, and Reporting.
• Reviews project schedule updates and coordinates with project teams to maintain progress tracking.
• Highlights deviations and delays to Project Management and supports delay analysis for claims/extension of time.
• Coordinates with Project Controls Manager in preparing weekly/monthly reports and budget.
• Participates in project meetings to discuss schedule, progress, and changes, and records impact on overall plan.
• Performs related duties as assigned.

What you will need to do:

• Prepares Contract Baseline Schedule and/or Revised Schedules in co-ordination with the Project Team for Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Pre-Commissioning and Commissioning phases of the EPC Project.
• Assists the Lead Planner at project start in the preparation of all reports and/or registers to assure the implementation of the following procedures:
• Control of Planning & Scheduling
• Progress Measurement
• Reporting
• Reviews the project schedule updates done by the planner and liaise & coordinate with the different project teams in order to maintain proper progress recording and/or monitoring of the project schedule.
• In coordination/consultation with the Project Controls Manager, highlights to the Project’s Management any deviation and/or delays from the approved plan.
• Participates in coordination with the project controls manager in the preparation of claims & extension of time using the appropriate delay analysis method.
• Liaises and assists the project controls manager in preparing weekly & monthly reports, budget preparation and maintains proper project planning records.
• Participates in periodic project meetings to elaborate the project’s schedule and the progress status. In addition, to record any suggested changes and/or deviations from the plan and to advice of its effect on the overall schedule.
• Performs any other related duties as assigned.

What you will need to have:

• University degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years relevant experience in construction industry at similar level, with involvement in Engineering and Procurement phase.
• Experience in EPC Projects above US$ 100M with ADNOC (or equivalent) with direct involvement in Engineering and Procurement is essential.
• Previous employment with leading EPC contractors is highly preferable.
• Capability to perform under stressful situations.
• Substantial planning, delay analysis and schedule risk analysis.
• Engineering, procurement, construction, pre-commissioning and commissioning awareness.
