Job summary

SLB Mutriba Project seeks a seasoned Mechanical Lifting SME to lead safe design, planning and execution of lifting operations and DROPS activities across all project phases.

You will oversee planning, risk assessment, and compliance with SLB standards, auditing and incident reporting, while coordinating with contractors and the customer lifting authority. Fluent English is required; Arabic is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or Technical Career is required.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in mechanical lifting supervision or SME role, preferably in oil & gas.
• Fluent English; Arabic is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, preparation, implementation, monitoring and review of Mechanical Lifting Plans (MLPs) for all project phases.
• Review and validate critical lifting plans and supervise execution of complex lifts across project locations.
• Ensure lifting risk assessments (HARC/JSA) are prepared and validated prior to operations.
• Coach personnel in ML operations and maintain competency records.
• Interface with customer lifting authority for plans, approvals, and regulatory compliance.
