Job summary
Arab Information Management Services (AIMS) in Kuwait seeks an IBM Middleware & Integration Engineer to own enterprise middleware operations, manage IBM MQ/ACE on z/OS and Linux, and deploy CP4I and API Connect.
The role requires strong experience with WebSphere Liberty, OpenShift, and Kubernetes, plus Linux administration and secure connectivity. Kuwait-based, permanent onsite position with cross-functional collaboration.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
Responsibilities
- Administer IBM MQ on z/OS and Linux.
- Administer and support ACE integration servers across mainframe and Linux.
- Manage WebSphere Liberty application servers and CP4I deployments.
- Support IBM API Connect and lifecycle activities.
- Maintain OpenShift and Kubernetes container platforms for middleware workloads.
- Perform Linux system administration including patching and tuning.
- Configure connectivity and troubleshoot cross-environment integration.
- Perform deployments, upgrades, and emergency patching of middleware.
- Support high availability, security baselines, and performance optimization.
- Document procedures and system configurations.
