Job summary
AIMS in Kuwait is seeking an experienced Network Solutions Specialist (Code 106) to join our on-site technology team. This full-time role requires 5+ years of hands-on enterprise LAN/WAN networking experience and a passion for designing, configuring, monitoring, and troubleshooting complex network architectures.
You will work with Extreme Summit and BlackDiamond switches, Huawei gear, and cloud networking, ensuring high availability, robust security, and seamless integration with IT systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related technical discipline.
- 5+ years of hands-on enterprise LAN/WAN experience.
- Valid Kuwait Driving License for field operations.
- Experience with Extreme Summit/BlackDiamond and Huawei switches.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DHCP, UDP, and routing protocols.
- Cloud networking experience and network automation familiarity.
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, configure, and maintain enterprise LAN, WAN, and cloud networks.
- Configure and optimize Extreme Summit/BlackDiamond and Huawei switches.
- Implement robust routing and switching solutions and troubleshoot complex issues.
- Monitor performance, bandwidth, and system health for maximum uptime.
- Maintain network documentation, runbooks, and change records.
