Job summary

The GIS Specialist will manage geospatial data to support project planning and execution in Kuwait. You will prepare maps, update geodatabases, and perform spatial analyses to ensure data accuracy and accessibility.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Geomatics or related field and at least five years of GIS data management experience, with strong communication and attention to detail. Kuwait residency with transferrable visa is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Geomatics, Computer Science, GIS, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in data management, GIS processing, spatial analysis, and geospatial database maintenance.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Collect, organize, validate, update, and maintain geospatial datasets and databases to ensure data accuracy and accessibility.
• Perform spatial analysis, data processing, and geographic assessments to support planning and decision-making.
• Prepare, update, and produce digital maps, thematic maps, and geospatial visualizations.
• Manage GIS databases, geodatabases, attribute tables, coordinates, and spatial data layers.
• Integrate geospatial data from GPS/GNSS, CAD, satellite imagery, and other sources while maintaining accuracy.
• Maintain GIS records, metadata, data inventories, and technical documentation; assist users with GIS data requirements.
