Job summary

Mark and save in Kuwait seeks an Accounts Manager to oversee day-to-day accounting operations including AP/AR, financial reporting, budgeting, and cash flow management. You will ensure IFRS/ VAT compliance, coordinate audits, and drive automation in finance processes.

The role requires 6–10 years of accounting experience, strong ERP proficiency, and the ability to lead a finance team across multi-unit operations. Kuwait location and market remuneration apply.

Qualifications

• Masters or Bachelor in Accounting/Finance/Commerce or related field required or preferred.
• CA, ACCA, CMA, CPA or equivalent qualification preferred.
• 6–10 years of accounting/finance experience, preferably in retail, FMCG, trading or multi-unit environment.
• Strong ERP knowledge with hands-on experience in financial reporting, taxation, budgeting and accounting operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, AP, AR, and financial reporting.
• Prepare and review MIS reports, PL financial analysis and variance analysis.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, costing and cash flow.
• Oversee inventory accounting, inventory reconciliation and working capital management.
• Ensure timely bank and inter-unit reconciliations.
• Manage fund management, CAPEX projects and investment accounting.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, VAT, GST taxation and statutory requirements.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and strengthen financial controls.
• Support ERP implementation, finance process automation and system improvements.
• Review payroll accounting and statutory compliance.
• Provide financial insights and reports to support management decision-making.
• Lead and guide the finance accounts team to ensure accuracy and timely completion of activities.

• Strong ERP knowledge with hands-on experience in financial reporting taxation budgeting and accounting operations.


• Experience in Sales Operations, Cash Flow Management, and financial oversight.


• Experience in Retail or FMCG Distribution industries preferred.


• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and business acumen.


• Excellent communication and team coordination abilities.
