Job summary

V2X Inc. is seeking a senior ESM Systems Engineer III to provide expert, enterprise-level support across Active Directory, Entra ID, and Windows infrastructure for global mission-critical systems.

The role requires DoD-level certifications, a Secret clearance, and hands-on experience with SCCM/MECM, SQL, PKI, and PowerShell. The engineer will mentor junior staff, serve as escalation point for complex incidents, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure, reliable operations.

Qualifications

• Requires active Secret Clearance.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience preferably in Computer Science or MIS, IS, Engineering or related field.
• DoD 8570.01M baseline and CE certifications required (see list).
• Strong experience in Microsoft Active Directory, Entra ID, SCCM/MECM, SQL, DNS, PKI, ADFS, MIM/FIM, WSUS, OSD, PowerShell.

Responsibilities

• Provide Enterprise-level support for Active Directory, Entra ID, and Windows File Services.
• Perform problem management and RCA for Identity Management in a large DoD setting.
• Escalation point for application support and troubleshooting in complex environments.
• Install, configure, and maintain Microsoft Active Directory and enterprise tools; manage patching and OS deployments.
• Create and maintain system documentation for domain technologies and processes.
• Improve processes and documentation; troubleshoot servers and infrastructure equipment as needed.
• Coordinate work and communicate status across teams and stakeholders.
• Manage multiple complex tasks in a fast-paced environment.
