Qualifications

Detailed Job Description:

• As a Network Solutions Specialist at AIMS, your core responsibilities encompass enterprise network infrastructure management, switch configuration, routing optimization, and incident troubleshooting.
• You will leverage your extensive expertise in LAN, WAN, and cloud-based network architectures to ensure high-availability and optimal network performance.
• Your daily engineering duties include configuring and managing Extreme Summit and BlackDiamond switch series, Huawei switches, routers, hubs, servers, and secure VPN tunnels.
• You will monitor complex network traffic, analyze core protocols (TCP/IP, DHCP, UDP), and perform rigorous troubleshooting for network connectivity issues.
• Managing cloud networking architectures, virtualization platforms, and network automation workflows forms a vital part of your daily responsibilities.
• Collaborating proactively with system administrators, IT support teams, and project stakeholders ensures seamless deployment and rapid issue resolution.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 5+ years of professional hands‑on experience in enterprise LAN/WAN networking.
• Mandatory possession of a valid Kuwait Driving License for local field operations and site deployments.
• Strong practical expertise in network infrastructure, routing, switching, and advanced troubleshooting.
• Deep working knowledge of core networking protocols including TCP/IP, DHCP, and UDP.
• Hands‑on configuration and management experience with Extreme Summit, BlackDiamond, and Huawei switches.
• Working knowledge of cloud networking architecture, virtualization technologies, and network automation.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and cross‑functional communication capabilities.
• Legal eligibility and physical presence capability to work on‑site in Kuwait.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Professional industry certifications including CCNP Enterprise (or equivalent), CCNA Routing & Switching, and CCNA Security.
• Microsoft Azure Network Engineer Associate certification.
• Experience with network automation scripting using Python, Ansible, or Bash.
