Job summary

Indian Overseas Services in Kuwait is seeking a Sr. Electrical Sales Engineer with a BE in Electrical Engineering and 2–3 years of sales experience focused on tenders for the oil, gas, refineries and petrochemical sectors.

You will promote transformers, switchgears and relays to Kuwait clients, handle pre- and post-tender activities, prepare costing and bidding, liaise with customers, and report to the General Manager. Fluency in English is essential.

Qualifications

• BE in Electrical Engineering is required.
• 2–3 years of sales experience with a focus on tenders.
• Experience in tendering for process industries (Oil & Gas, refineries, Petrochemicals).
• Experience in selling industrial equipment (transformers, switchgears, relays).
• Techno-commercial costing and bidding experience for tenders.
• Strong English communication is essential.

Responsibilities

• Promote principal products to Kuwait clients.
• Monitor related tenders and screen for participation.
• Handle pre- and post-tender activities with clients.
• Liaise with clients to explore business opportunities.
• Provide feedback to General Manager on commercial/technical product information.
