Job summary

Explore more jobs is seeking a Senior Completion & Well Intervention Engineer to lead completion and workover planning and provide on-site technical guidance. The role involves supervising engineers, coordinating with subsurface/production, and ensuring regulatory and safety compliance during operations.

The candidate will prepare programs, AFEs, flowcharts, and manage interfaces with contractors and service companies while driving continuous improvement and cost control in projects.

Qualifications

• Reviews Completion Basis of Design and performs detailed design checks.
• Review all completion hardware components for compatibility with clearances, setting pressure/turns/weight, and couplings.
• Review regulatory requirements to determine downhole and surface safety equipment requirements and confirm compliance of final equipment configuration.
• Review current well status and well integrity.
• Prepare final well status post completion / workover.
• Prepare completion / workover operations flowchart and contingencies.

Responsibilities

• Prepares Completion / Workover Programs and follows the execution of programs technically.
• Prepares Completion / Workover time estimates and AFE's.
• Review the program with all parties involved (drilling contractor, completion, wellhead, slickline, etc.).
• Participates in selection and evaluation of service companies, suppliers and equipment.
• Ensures proper communication with relevant parties (client, Product Lines, third parties).
• Participates in cost control of programs Vs AFE by analyzing solutions.
