Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• CPA is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of Kuwait accounting laws and regulations.
• Proficient in Excel and QuickBooks.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting activities including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and reports.
• Monitor cash flow and make recommendations for budget adjustments as needed.
• Conduct regular audits of financial processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits.
• Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets.
• Analyze financial data and provide recommendations for cost-cutting measures.
• Review and approve journal entries, invoices, and expense reports.
• Train and mentor junior accounting staff.
