Prestige Talent is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our finance team in Al Ahmadi, Kuwait. You will oversee financial activities, ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance, and guide junior staff. The role focuses on statements, budgets, analysis, and controls.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance with 5+ years of experience, strong Excel and SAP/QuickBooks skills, and excellent English communication. Travel with a biometric passport may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 5+ years of accounting experience.
• Proficient in SAP and QuickBooks.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze financial statements on a monthly and yearly basis.
• Monitor budgets and financial performance of the company.
• Review and approve journal entries, invoices, and other accounting documents.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting principles and regulations.
• Identify areas for cost reduction or revenue improvement.
• Provide guidance to junior accounting staff.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure proper documentation and adherence to policies.
• Develop and maintain financial controls to safeguard company assets.
• Liaise with external auditors as needed.
