Job summary

Otis Kuwait is seeking an experienced accounting leader to manage the accounting function for the Kuwait entity, ensuring policy compliance and timely financial reporting. The role oversees AP/AR processes, journal entries, and monthly closes across multiple locations, while guiding staff to high performance.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in accounting with GL focus and at least 2 years of people management, preferably with exposure to the elevator or construction sector.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8+ years accounting experience with GL/Accounting Manager exposure.
• 2+ years of people management/supervisory experience.
• Experience in month-end closing, reporting, and audits.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting activities for Otis Kuwait and lead the team.
• Develop and interpret AP/AR policies in line with local laws.
• Approve invoices and ensure accuracy before sign-off.
