Job summary

Jumeirah Kuwait is seeking a friendly and attentive guest service associate to take orders by phone, operate the POS system, and ensure accurate check printing and closing. You will maintain thorough knowledge of menus, including daily specials, and assist Private Dining events with order tracking and delivery updates.

The role requires strong cash handling skills, the ability to upsell F&B products, and a collaborative team mindset.

• To use courteous and efficient telephone etiquette while obtaining all information necessary to process the guest's order.
• To operate the computer system for order taking, check printing, closing out checks and printing reports.
• To maintain in-depth knowledge all menus (including Daily Specials, cocktail list, etc.) and of the service of food and beverage items offered by the department and the hotel.
• The ability to maintain a Private Dining control sheet so the Private Dining Manager knows when an order was taken, delivered and retrieved and by whom.
• To qualify sell and up-sell F&B products and services.
• To handle cash and credit card procedures according to the guidelines of the accounting department
• Looking for Very Flexible, understanding and a good team player.
