Job summary

Amentum is seeking an aircraft mechanic for deployment support across CONUS/OCONUS locations, including Kuwait. Responsibilities include inspection, repair, and overhaul of aircraft, engines, and components, with adherence to technical orders and safety standards.

The role requires flexibility in deployment schedules and the ability to work with limited supervision. Preferred candidates have an associate degree, FAA licensing, MQ-9 experience, and prior defense contractor work.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of actual aircraft mechanic maintenance experience.
• Must understand basic mechanical maintenance concepts and repair processes.
• Ability to interpret technical orders, manuals, and instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily launch/recovery duties in support of operations.
• Inspect, service, repair, and overhaul aircraft and engines.
• Diagnose malfunctions using test equipment and reference manuals.
• Replace defective components and reinstall engines and subsystems.
• Maintain accurate parts inventory and support maintenance schedules.
