Job summary

GULF SPIC GENERAL TRADING & CONTRACTING COMPANY WLL in Kuwait seeks an experienced Process Engineer to lead design activities for refinery, oil & gas, and petrochemical projects. Proficiency with Aspen, UNISIM, PIPESIM, HTRI, Flare net, and PFD/P&ID is required.

Strong knowledge of process safety studies (HAZOP, QRA, SIL) and vendor data sheet reviews is essential. Competitive package includes food and accommodation, visa, air ticket, transport, and 30 days annual leave.

Qualifications

• Experience in refinery, oil & gas and petrochemical process design.
• Knowledge of PFD, P&ID, cause & effect diagrams and line lists.

• Vendor package reviews and data sheets for equipment & instruments.

Responsibilities

• Lead process design activities for refinery and petrochemical projects.
• Ensure accurate documentation of design calculations and sizing (pump hydraulics, line sizing, PSV/TSV sizing).
• Develop process safety studies and commissioning procedures.

Job description

Role & responsibilities

Experienced in Process Design works in Refinery, Oil & Gas and Petrochemical industry. Working knowledge in Aspen / UNISIM, PIPESIM, HTRI, Flare net, Pipe net, SPPID is required. Experience in preparation of PFD, P&ID, Cause & Effect Diagrams, Line list, Tie-in List, Process calculations (like Pump Hydraulics, Equipment sizing, line sizing, PSV / TSV sizing & Surge analysis, etc.), Control philosophy, Operation & Maintenance manual and commissioning procedure. In depth Knowledge on process software is mandatory. Experience in participation of Process Safety studies like HAZOP, SIL, QRA and PHSER studies. Vendor package review and preparation of Process data sheets for the equipment & Instruments.
