Job summary

LanceSoft Middle East is seeking an experienced Power System Engineer to lead planning and technical studies for Kuwait's electricity network across multiple voltage levels. You will drive seasonal studies, network development and connection studies for substations, and contribute to master planning and reporting to clients.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; postgraduate qualifications are a plus.
• Experience in utility power-system planning and studies.
• Proficiency with power-system modelling and study software.

Responsibilities

• Lead seasonal system studies for summer peak and winter minimum.
• Perform network development and capacity-enhancement studies.
• Undertake connection studies for substations and major load-supply projects.
• Perform short-circuit calculations for substations.
• Assess renewable and alternative-energy connections and hosting capacity.
• Contribute to the Electrical Network Master Plan and review studies.
• Prepare study reports and recommendations for client review.
