Job summary

Kuwait Drilling Fluids & Oil Services seeks a Business Applications Engineer to build, deploy, and support Microsoft Power Platform and Dynamics 365 solutions across Operations, HSE, Supply Chain, Finance, and HR.

You will design canvas and model-driven apps, configure Dataverse, automate processes with Power Automate, develop Power BI dashboards, and provide ongoing post‑go‑live support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or related field.
• 2–5 years hands-on experience building business apps on Power Platform.
• Demonstrated delivery from requirements through to live use and ongoing support.
• Hands-on experience with Power Apps (canvas and model-driven).
• Experience with Microsoft Dataverse (tables, relationships, security rules).
• Working knowledge of Power Automate (approvals, exception handling).
• Experience with SharePoint Online (lists, permissions, forms).
• Power BI report development (data prep and DAX).
• Experience delivering REST API integrations or with third-party systems.
• Working knowledge of SQL and relational data modelling.
• Experience providing post-go-live support (incidents, defects, access changes).
• Ability to gather requirements with business users and demonstrate solutions.
• Ability to write clear technical documentation and end-user guides.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder-engagement skills.
• Exposure to Dynamics 365 configuration is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, document requirements, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
• Design and build applications using Power Apps (canvas and model-driven).
• Build mobile-capable apps for field operations with offline support.
• Design and maintain Dataverse solutions (tables, relationships, security).
• Develop automated business processes with Power Automate (approvals, monitoring).
• Build and support SharePoint Online solutions (lists, permissions, forms).
• Develop Power BI reports and dashboards for business reporting.
• Provide day-to-day technical support for Dynamics 365 environment.
• Deliver integrations between Power Platform solutions and other systems via REST APIs/JSON.
• Perform testing and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Deploy solutions across Development, Test/UAT, and Production environments with release procedures.
• Provide ongoing post go-live support (incidents, defects, access changes, enhancements).
• Maintain enhancement backlog and align priorities with stakeholders.
• Follow Data Loss Prevention policies and security guidelines; avoid secrets."
• Follow change-control discipline for every release with reviews and rollback plans.
• Ensure apps/flows are owned by the business function, not individuals.
• Produce technical documentation, data models, deployment steps, runbooks, and user guides.
• Deliver user training and handover materials to business users.
• Identify recurring inefficiencies and propose practical automation opportunities.
• Escalate architecture decisions to Digital Solutions Manager for approval.
