Job summary

Egis Group is seeking a detail-oriented Document Controller for a port project in Kuwait. You will manage and control all project documents, ensure smooth information flow and maintain accurate records through the project lifecycle.

The role requires a university degree, 3+ years in document control in construction or engineering, proficiency with document management software and Microsoft Office, excellent organization and communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• University degree required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in document control, preferably in construction or engineering projects.
• Proficiency in document management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with project management software.
• Familiarity with CAD software is a plus.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain a comprehensive document control system for the port project.
• Receive, log, and distribute incoming and outgoing project documents.
• Ensure all documents are properly filed, indexed, and easily retrievable.
• Coordinate with project team members to collect, review, and process technical documents.
• Maintain version control and track document revisions.
• Prepare and distribute regular document status reports.
• Assist in the development and implementation of document control procedures.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure timely document submissions.
• Perform quality checks on documents to ensure compliance with project standards and specifications.
• Manage the electronic document management system and train users as needed.
• Support design review and construction supervision processes by facilitating document access and distribution.
• Assist in the preparation of project closeout documentation.
