Job summary

Kwtsteel in Kuwait is seeking a shift supervisor for the Lime & Dolomite Plant to supervise and allocate work for operators and technicians, and to oversee daily production and maintenance activities. You will ensure equipment reliability, product quality, and safe working conditions, documenting shift performance and incidents, and reporting improvement needs to senior management.

• Enforce safety and quality standards and take immediate operational actions within established procedures.
• Escalate major modifications or resource approvals to engineers, senior supervisors, or plant management.

Control daily production and maintenance activities, ensuring equipment reliability, product quality, and safe working conditions. Document and report shift performance, incidents, and improvement needs to higher management.

Responsible for supervising operators and technicians, allocating manpower, and controlling production and maintenance activities during shifts. They are authorized to enforce safety and quality standards, take immediate operational and safety-related actions, and document shift performance. Their decision-making is limited to day-to-day supervision, resource allocation, and troubleshooting within established procedures. Any major modifications, production changes, or resource approvals must be escalated to engineers, senior supervisors, or plant management.
