The ideal candidate has 15-20 years of experience in flexible packaging and a BE/B.Tech in Plastic Engineering or a related field. You will oversee all plant operations—from production and maintenance to quality and safety—ensure on-time delivery, cost efficiency, and compliance with standards and customer requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the operations team and collaborate with procurement and management.

Role & responsibilities

We are hiring Plant Manager for a leading Plastic Manufacturing Co in Kuwait

Qualifications

B.E /B.Tech in Plastic Engineering or relevant

Experience

15 -20 years as Plant Manager in Flexible Packaging.

Responsibilities

• Oversee complete plant operations including production, maintenance, quality, and safety.
• In-depth knowledge of flexible , packaging, plant operations and manufacturing process. LAMINATION, PRINTING, PET PREFORM, CAPS , BAGS , POUCHES ETC
• Overseeing the production process, drawing up a production schedule.
• Ensuring all operations is cost effective and monitoring product standards.
• Ensuring products are produced on time and are of good quality.
• Ensures compliance with standards and product Specifications, Regulations and Customer Requirements.
• Working with other managers to implement the companys policies and goals.
• Responsible for reviewing the performance of subordinates in the plant.
• Identifying training needs for all operations personnel and ensuring evaluation of all trained staff.
• Raising daily production report to the accounting team.
• Ensure proper control on Food Safety standard and CCPs to ensure critical limits are not exceeded.
• Ensure proper implementation on PRPs and OPRPs to ensure safe product realization.
• Direct relationship with Regulatory Bodies, Professional Association and Experts to gain professional benefit to the company.
• Raising monthly production report to the General Manager.
• Responsible for defining authority and responsibility, providing resources and appointing management Representative.
• Providing support to procurement team on selection of Suppliers for purchase of Raw material and Packing Material.
• To lead Control & Instrumentation (C&I) function on all Project Teams.
• Provide technical support to purchase team for procuring capital controls items.
• Responsible for all Operation activity and team.
• Responsible for Implementing & training to the operation team.
• Approval of Daily Production Report.
• Stop the machine if there are any abnormalities found in operation.
• Approval of standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to production department.
• Take decision for continuous operation of the plant with approval of the General manger.
• Excellent communication skills.

Salary Range
