Advanced Search Group is seeking a seasoned Planning Manager – Electrical for Kuwait-based CCPP/Power Plant projects. You will lead scheduling, progress monitoring, and control of electrical engineering, procurement, construction, testing and commissioning activities.

The role demands 5+ years of dedicated planning experience in power projects, strong Primavera P6 expertise, and ability to coordinate across engineering and construction teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of planning experience in CCPP/Power Plant projects.
• Experience as Planning Manager/Senior Planning Engineer – Electrical.
• Strong knowledge of Primavera P6, critical path analysis and recovery planning.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain Electrical Baseline Schedule in Primavera P6.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Construction and QA/QC teams.
• Monitor progress, prepare weekly/monthly reports and look-ahead schedules.
• Develop S-curves, manpower histograms and look-ahead schedules.
• Identify critical activities and propose corrective actions.
• Prepare delay analyses and recovery plans; support EOT documentation.

Position Planning Manager – Electrical

Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Planning Manager – Electrical with strong experience in Combined Cycle Power Plant (CCPP) / Power Plant projects. The candidate will be responsible for planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, and schedule control of electrical engineering, procurement, construction, testing, and commissioning activities.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain the Electrical Project Baseline Schedule using Primavera P6. Prepare detailed WBS, activity networks, logic relationships, milestones, and critical paths. Plan and monitor electrical installation activities for CCPP/Power Plant projects. Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Construction, QA/QC, Commissioning, and Project Management teams. Monitor planned vs. actual progress and prepare weekly/monthly progress reports. Develop and monitor S-Curves, manpower histograms, progress curves, and look-ahead schedules. Identify critical and near-critical activities and recommend corrective actions. Monitor electrical material procurement, delivery, installation, testing, and commissioning schedules. Analyze delays and prepare recovery schedules and mitigation plans. Support preparation of EOT / delay analysis documentation when required. Monitor electrical milestones including installation completion, testing, pre-commissioning, energization, and commissioning. Conduct regular schedule review meetings with construction and engineering teams. Provide accurate project completion forecasts to management. Ensure schedule updates accurately reflect site progress and project constraints.

Electrical Scope Experience

Candidates should have planning experience covering activities such as:HV/MV/LV electrical systems Switchgear and MCC installation Transformers Generators GIS/AIS systems Cable tray and cable laying Cable termination and testing Earthing and lightning protection Electrical panels UPS and battery systems Lighting systems Electrical testing & commissioning Energization and synchronization Interface with GT, ST, HRSG and auxiliary systems

Mandatory Requirements

Minimum 5 years of dedicated planning experience in CCPP / Power Plant projects Previous experience as Planning Manager / Senior Planning Engineer – Electrical Strong experience in electrical project planning and scheduling Power plant / CCPP project experience is mandatory Excellent knowledge of Primavera P6Experience in critical path analysis, progress measurement, delay analysis and recovery planning Strong knowledge of project controls and reporting Good communication and coordination skills Candidates available for immediate deployment will be preferred.

Preferred Profile

Education: B. E./B. Tech/Diploma in Electrical Engineering Experience: 8–15+ years overall, with substantial CCPP/Power Plant Planning experience Location: Kuwait Joining: Immediate / Short Notice
