The role involves assisting the Pastry Chef, measuring ingredients, and maintaining hygiene and safety while working in a fast-paced kitchen. The position requires willingness to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience as Commis III or similar in pastry/bakery.
• Knowledge of pastry and bakery preparation.
• Ability to follow recipes precisely.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Pastry Chef and senior team in daily production.
• Prepare and measure ingredients accurately according to recipes.
• Assist in preparing pastries, cakes, breads, desserts and fillings.
• Support basic pastry tasks such as mixing, whipping, piping, moulding and baking.
• Maintain consistency in taste, texture, appearance and portions.
• Follow food safety, hygiene and sanitation procedures.
• Store ingredients and maintain equipment properly.
• Keep workstations clean and organized; assist mise en place.
