Job summary

PROFESSIONAL MAINTENANCE SERVICES in Kuwait City is seeking a Kitchen Equipment Technician to inspect, diagnose, and repair commercial kitchen equipment, including ovens, fryers, refrigerators, and dishwashers. You will perform preventive maintenance, respond to service calls, document work, and ensure safety and performance standards while coordinating with supervisors and clients.

The role requires reading technical manuals, using diagnostic tools, and maintaining an organized parts inventory.

Qualifications

• Experience in equipment maintenance and preventive maintenance for commercial kitchen systems.
• Troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and control issues.
• Experience with heavy equipment or large commercial appliances.
• Reading technical manuals, diagrams, and safety instructions; use diagnostic and hand tools safely.
• Ability to read manuals/diagrams and work independently with multiple service requests.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair commercial kitchen equipment (ovens, fryers, refrigerators, dishwashers).
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and respond to service calls.
• Document work performed and ensure safety and performance standards.
• Coordinate with supervisors and clients; maintain organized inventory of tools and spare parts.
• Follow company procedures and contribute to continuous improvement in maintenance practices.
