Job summary

Masaj Co. in Kuwait seeks an experienced Massage Trainer to conduct professional training sessions for therapists, develop and update SOPs, and ensure treatments meet company standards. You will evaluate skills, coach staff, and stay current with wellness trends in a dynamic spa environment.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and a professional massage certification. English is required; Arabic is a plus, with focus on service quality and training excellence.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Massage Therapist and/or Massage Trainer.
• Professional certification in Massage Therapy or related field.
• Strong knowledge of different massage techniques, including Swedish, Deep Tissue, Thai, Aromatherapy, and other therapeutic massages
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong leadership and team development abilities.
• Ability to assess staff performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Good knowledge of hygiene and health & safety standards.
• English communication skills are required; Arabic is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Conduct professional training sessions for massage therapists.
• Train employees in different massage techniques and body treatments.
• Develop and update training materials, manuals, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Evaluate therapists' practical skills and knowledge.
• Provide coaching and refresher training to improve performance.
• Ensure all massage treatments are performed according to company standards.
• Train staff on hygiene, sanitation, health, and safety procedures.
• Monitor treatment quality and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
• Stay updated with new massage techniques and wellness industry trends.
• Support the Spa Manager in maintaining a high level of service quality.
