Job summary

Trehan International in Kuwait is seeking an experienced electrical technician for full-time/substation maintenance roles. You will work on 11kV/433V substations, switchgear, distribution transformers, batteries and chargers, protection relays, and related testing instruments.

Proficiency in reading drawings and diagrams and troubleshotting switchgear control circuits is essential. Diploma in Electrical engineering is required, with hands-on experience in high/medium voltage equipment.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience with 11kV/433V substation maintenance and switchgear components.
• Familiarity with protection relays and testing instruments.

Responsibilities

• Maintain 11kV/433V substations, switchgear and distribution transformers.
• Troubleshoot protection relays and switchgear control circuits.
• Interpret drawings/diagrams and perform testing with appropriate instruments.
