Job summary

Charm Connect in Al Ahmadi, Kuwait, seeks a skilled Indian Chef to join our team on a full-time basis. You will create authentic Indian dishes, plan menus and supervise kitchen staff to ensure high quality and consistency.

Requirements include a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a restaurant, extensive knowledge of traditional Indian cuisine, strong leadership and time-management skills, and flexibility to work weekends and evenings as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Indian Chef in a restaurant setting.
• Extensive knowledge of traditional Indian cuisine and cooking techniques.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple orders at once.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Able to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings if needed.
• Must be legally eligible to work in Al Ahmadi, Kuwait.

Responsibilities

• Plan and create menus featuring a variety of traditional Indian dishes
• Prepare and cook food according to recipes and standards set by the restaurant
• Ensure food quality and presentation meets the highest standards
• Monitor food stock levels and place orders when necessary
• Train and supervise kitchen staff to maintain consistency in food preparation
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen at all times
