Job summary

Anton Oilfield Services Group is seeking a Laboratory Specialist to perform rigorous testing and analyses of oilfield samples in Kuwait City. You will work within On Sync Energy Management Services to ensure precise results and uphold safety standards.

The role requires a Diploma in Chemical or Petrochemical Engineering and 10+ years of lab experience in Oil & Gas, with strong QC, calibration, and problem-solving skills to support operations and quality assurance.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Chemical or Petrochemical Engineering.
• 10+ years' experience in laboratory testing and chemical analysis in Oil & Gas.
• Strong knowledge of QC practices and equipment calibration.
• Solid understanding of laboratory safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct laboratory tests, experiments, and analyses per SOPs.
• Perform chemical testing and analysis of oil, gas, water samples.
• Maintain, calibrate, and verify laboratory equipment for accuracy.
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment and testing issues.
• Stay updated on Lab tech advancements and best practices.
• Maintain accurate laboratory records and documentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct laboratory tests, experiments, and analyses in accordance with standard operating procedures.
• Perform chemical testing and analysis of oil, gas, water, and related process samples.
• Maintain, calibrate, and verify laboratory equipment to ensure accurate test results.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to laboratory equipment and testing procedures.
• Stay up to date with advancements in laboratory technologies, techniques, and industry best practices.
• Maintain accurate laboratory records, test results, and documentation.
• Perform other laboratory duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualification Requirements

• Diploma in Chemical Engineering, Petrochemical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of experience conducting laboratory testing, chemical analysis, and sample preparation within the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or related process industry.
• Strong knowledge of laboratory testing procedures, chemical analysis, and quality control practices.
• Experience maintaining and calibrating laboratory equipment.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of laboratory safety standards and standard operating procedures.
