Citi Kuwait is seeking a Country HR Officer to guide professional HR activities for the Kuwait franchise, coordinating with Citi Country Officer, HR leaders, and business units to align people strategy with regulatory and cluster priorities.

This role requires deep Kuwait Labor Law knowledge, nationalization experience, and strong skills in risk management, governance, and stakeholder engagement in a global matrix environment.

Competenze

• 8–10+ years of progressive HR experience.
• Deep knowledge of Kuwait Labor Law and regulatory requirements.
• Proven track record in Kuwaitization/nationalization strategies.
• Experience in HR risk, controls and governance in a regulated environment.
• Experience in a complex, global matrix organization with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong bilingual communication in Arabic and English.

• Provides HR consulting across Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, compensation and organizational effectiveness.
• Applies knowledge of Kuwait Labor Law and CBK frameworks to resolve complex matters.
• Partners with leadership to develop and implement human capital strategies and headcount plans.

• Coaches leaders on performance management and succession planning for critical roles.
• Manages employee relations and disciplinary actions in line with local mandates and Citi procedures.
