Job summary

Four Seasons Kuwait City is seeking an experienced kitchen professional to lead and supervise the Kitchen team, upholding Four Seasons standards in all aspects of operations. You will ensure hygiene, quality, and timely service while promoting a collaborative, high-performance environment.

The role requires Arabic cuisine expertise, calm under pressure, and strong English and Arabic communication to train staff and coordinate with other departments. A competitive package accompanies the role.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years’ experience in a similar position within an Arabic Cuisine Restaurant.
• Ability to work well under pressure.
• Works well in a team environment; pays attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal communication skills in English and Arabic.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise the Kitchen team in accordance with Four Seasons standards and local operating criteria.
• Foster strong team spirit and inter-department cooperation.
• Promote career development with continuous training and coaching.
• Lead in Training activities in the Preparation Department.
• Drive quality standards for all food, ensuring taste, temperature, presentation, and portion control.
• Ensure HACCP compliance and highest hygiene; inspect suppliers and deliveries; assist in menu development.
• Be hands-on and demonstrate excellent kitchen skills; lead in special culinary events.
• Requisition daily food items with the team; supervise setup, service and breakdown for each meal period.
• Verify taste and presentation; monitor control procedures and sanitation.
• Communicate and delegate the production schedule and forecast; assist with banquet sheets; expedite orders; oversee sanitation.
