Job summary

Shabakkat seeks an experienced IP Engineer to manage live IP/MPLS networks in Kuwait within a managed services framework. You will own day-to-day operations, handle incidents, perform RCA, and execute changes with strict change control while maintaining high SLA compliance.

You will configure and troubleshoot BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, MPLS, L2/L3 VPNs, and EVPN, collaborating with L2/L3 teams. The role requires strong Arabic/English communication and on-site availability.

Qualifications

• 4 to 7 years of hands-on IP/Network engineering experience.
• Experience in Managed Services or telecom Service Provider environments.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, IPv4/IPv6, BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, MPLS, QoS, and Traffic Engineering.
• Bilingual in Arabic (spoken and written) alongside English.
• Residency in Kuwait or local hire eligibility; on-site availability.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain customer IP/MPLS networks in live, high-availability production environments.
• Perform day-to-day network operations including device configuration, monitoring, fault handling, and performance optimization.
• Configure, manage, and troubleshoot BGP, OSPF, IS‑IS, MPLS, L2/L3 VPNs, and EVPN architectures.
• Act as L2/L3 technical support, handling incidents, service requests, and escalations.
• Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and prepare detailed incident and problem reports.
• Execute network changes in compliance with change management procedures and maintenance windows.
• Support network upgrades, expansions, and migrations with minimal service impact.
• Participate in on-call and shift rotations as required by Managed Services.
