Client of High Street Resources seeks an Investment Analyst for a diversified family office headquartered in Kuwait, offering exposure to a sophisticated investment environment across public and private markets. You will support the CIO in investment research, due diligence, portfolio monitoring and performance reporting.

The role involves developing financial models, evaluating opportunities, and preparing materials for the Investment Committee and Board.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or related discipline.
• Experience in investment management, asset management, private banking, family offices, or institutional investment environments.
• Strong financial modeling, valuation, investment research, and analytical capabilities.
• Understanding of portfolio management, asset allocation, investment performance, and risk assessment.

Responsabilités

• Conduct investment research, financial analysis, valuations and due diligence across public and private markets.
• Evaluate investment opportunities, external fund managers and investment strategies.
• Develop financial models, scenario analyses and risk assessments.
• Assess investment performance, underlying exposures, commercial terms and alignment with portfolio objectives.
• Monitor portfolio performance, asset allocation and risk.
• Support portfolio construction, asset allocation and rebalancing decisions.
• Track capital commitments, capital calls, distributions and cash flows.
• Maintain investment pipelines, transaction records and portfolio monitoring tools.
• Prepare investment reports, dashboards and presentations for senior management, the Investment Committee and Board.
• Analyze portfolio returns, performance attribution, benchmarks and key risk metrics.
• Maintain accurate investment data and support portfolio reporting systems.
• Coordinate with banks, custodians, investment managers and fund administrators.
• Prepare investment memoranda, due diligence reports and supporting presentations.
• Support investment activities from initial evaluation through execution and ongoing monitoring.
• Assist with compliance monitoring against approved investment policies and guidelines.

Our client is entering an exciting phase of growth and transformation expanding its investment activities and strengthening its investment management capabilities. This opportunity offers exposure to a sophisticated investment environment combining the entrepreneurial agility of a family office with institutional-grade governance and investment practices.

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Investment Analyst to support the Chief Investment Officer in managing and overseeing a diversified multi-asset investment portfolio. The successful candidate will be involved in investment research, financial analysis, due diligence, portfolio monitoring and performance reporting across public and private markets. The position offers direct exposure to senior investment leadership and participation in investment evaluation and decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities

Investment Research & Due Diligence

• Conduct investment research, financial analysis, valuations and due diligence across public and private markets
• Evaluate investment opportunities, external fund managers and investment strategies
• Develop financial models, scenario analyses and risk assessments
• Assess investment performance, underlying exposures, commercial terms and alignment with portfolio objectives

Portfolio Management & Monitoring

• Monitor portfolio performance, asset allocation, liquidity and investment risk
• Support portfolio construction, asset allocation and rebalancing decisions
• Track capital commitments, capital calls, distributions and cash flows
• Maintain investment pipelines, transaction records and portfolio monitoring tools

Investment Reporting & Analytics

• Prepare investment reports, dashboards and presentations for senior management, the Investment Committee and Board

Investment Execution & Governance

• Prepare investment memoranda, due diligence reports and supporting presentations

• Assist with compliance monitoring against approved investment policies and guidelines
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external investment partners

Location & Relocation

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Relevant experience in investment management, asset management, private banking, family offices, or institutional investment environments.
• Strong financial modeling, valuation, investment research, and analytical capabilities.
• Understanding of portfolio management, asset allocation, investment performance, and risk assessment.
• Exposure to multi-asset portfolios and alternative investments is advantageous.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with Bloomberg Terminal and AI-powered research and analytical tools.
• CFA Level I or above preferred; CAIA or other relevant qualifications are advantageous.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
• High standards of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.
