EliteHosts is seeking an experienced Indian Chef to join our team at a high-end restaurant in Hawalli. You will be responsible for preparing and cooking traditional Indian dishes, creating new recipes, and leading kitchen operations to meet quality standards.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience, extensive knowledge of Indian cuisine and techniques, and proven leadership. Excellent English communication and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment are essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and present traditional Indian dishes according to menu standards
• Plan menus, create new recipes and develop special dishes for events or promotions
• Manage kitchen operations including inventory control, food cost management and staff scheduling
• Train and supervise kitchen staff on cooking techniques, safety procedures and hygiene standards
• Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, taste and freshness
• Ensure all health department regulations are followed
• Collaborate with the restaurant manager to plan new menus or promotions
