Job summary

Hilton Kuwait is seeking a skilled Laundry Manager to lead the laundry department, ensuring service quality for guests and members. You will oversee stock control, supplier relations, budgets and safety compliance while developing and mentoring the laundry team.

The role requires strong IT skills, superb organisation, resilience under pressure, and prior supervisory hotel experience. You will collaborate with various departments to maintain par levels and meet forecasted needs.

Qualifications

• IT proficiency and effective use of systems for laundry operations.
• Strong organisational and planning abilities to manage daily tasks and resources.
• Accountability and resilience in a fast-paced hotel environment.
• Clear communication with guests, team members, and suppliers.
• Ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Experience in hotel or leisure sector is advantageous.
• Experience supervising teams and coordinating staff.

Responsibilities

• Run Laundry Department operations.
• Manage, train and develop the Laundry team.
• Ensure linen and housekeeping supplies are ordered and controlled in line with Business and Events.
• Control monthly stock levels and conduct stock takes, minimizing losses.
• Manage weekly stock ordering to maintain par levels.
• Raise purchase orders and reconcile invoices.
• Handle customer service issues quickly and effectively.
• Liaise with suppliers to ensure quality at acceptable cost.
• Manage forecasts, budgets and capital equipment requests.
• Ensure team compliance with Health and Safety regulations.
• Carry out any other reasonable task set by management.
