Job summary

Crowne Plaza Hotels & Resorts in Kuwait City invites you to join the Health Club as a Receptionist. You will process calls, greet guests by name, provide accurate information on facilities, and maintain a clean, orderly Health Club environment.

You will assist guests and members with towel and amenity needs, report maintenance issues, upsell spa and gym services, and uphold privacy, hygiene and safety standards while delivering warm, professional service.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Health Club facilities according to set standards of order and cleanliness.
• Process all incoming and outgoing calls accurately and courteously.
• Record all entries on traffic sheets.
• Greet guests by name whenever possible.
• Pages staff member when requested.
• Abides by principles of guest privacy.
• Handle guest needs or requests and report complaints to the Telephone Supervisor.
• Maintain a clean work environment.
• Attend to all guest queries and requests promptly.
• Maintain current Hotel Information.
• Be knowledgeable about all hotel facilities to promote and sell them to guests.
• Ensure guests amenities, towels, linen and other needs have ample supply.
• Follow hotel procedures for pool towel issue and retrieval.
• Conduct activities and services for guest, members and registered children with proper instruction and safety reminders.
• Adhere to rules and regulations and procedures of hotel.
• Apply correct charges to guests and visitors for use of pool, spa and gym, and post to room bill as per procedure.
• Attend scheduled training and participate in employee activities.
• Adhere to specified hygiene and personal appearance standards.
• Participate in activities concerning protection of environment.
• Ensure only in-house guests, members and paying guests use facilities.
• Maintain responsibility for cleanliness of exercise rooms, garden areas and tennis courts.
• Greet and escort guests to lounge chairs and present towels.
• Maintain a library of books and magazines in different languages.
