Job summary

IHG Hotels & Resorts in Kuwait is seeking a dedicated Room Attendant to maintain guest rooms to the highest standards and create a memorable experience for every guest who stays with us. You will ensure cleanliness, organization, and attention to detail in all rooms and corridors.

As part of the Housekeeping team, you will assist guests with requests, report maintenance needs, follow safety protocols, manage supplies, and participate in deep cleaning and turndown duties as required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure rooms are maintained to high standards to create a special and memorable experience for guests.
• Assist guests with requests such as providing amenities or directions.
• Keep supervisors updated on room service progress and report any necessary repairs.
• Follow established safety procedures at all times and utilize protective equipment when required.
• Maintain organization of supplies and amenities while minimizing waste.
• Reunite items with owners and log lost and found property according to established procedures.
• Maintain a professional appearance by wearing the uniform with pride.
• Monitor and control supplies and amenities within all areas of housekeeping.
• Work as part of a team and communicate with other departments to ensure excellent quality and service.
• Assist with deep cleaning projects and turndown duties as required.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
