Job summary

Hudson Manpower is seeking an experienced Hostess for a reputed restaurant group in Kuwait. The role emphasizes welcoming guests, managing seating and reservations, and ensuring a smooth guest flow throughout service.

The ideal candidate is fluent in Arabic and English, with 2–3 years in hospitality, a professional appearance, and strong communication skills to handle VIP guests and busy periods.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum height of 165 cm, fit appearance and professional grooming.
• Fluent Arabic and English verbal communication.
• 2–3 years of experience in restaurants, hotels, cafés, or hospitality industry preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Friendly, professional, customer-focused attitude.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good organizational and coordination skills.
• Basic knowledge of reservation systems and customer handling.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly upon arrival and assist them with seating.
• Manage reservations, waiting lists, and table allocations efficiently.
• Escort guests to tables and provide menus.
• Coordinate with restaurant staff to ensure smooth seating and guest flow.
• Answer phone calls and handle customer inquiries professionally.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception and waiting area.
• Inform guests about waiting times and restaurant policies when necessary.
• Assist in handling guest concerns or complaints politely.
• Support restaurant operations during busy service periods.
• Maintain professional grooming and appearance standards.
• Coordinate with floor staff and management for VIP guests and special requests.
• Ensure excellent guest experience from arrival to departure.
