Job summary

A reputed Catering Company in Kuwait is seeking 10 General Cooks to support daily food preparation and production activities. The role requires practical cooking experience, preferably in catering, hotels, restaurants, central kitchens, or large-scale food production.

Responsibilities include preparing and cooking per menus, handling vegetables, meat, poultry, and other items, supporting bulk cooking, and ensuring hygiene and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a General Cook/Cook.
• Experience in catering, bulk cooking, central kitchen, hotel, restaurant, or food production.
• Ability to work in a high-volume kitchen environment and maintain hygiene.

• Operate kitchen equipment safely and correctly.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and HACCP procedures.
• Minimize food wastage and use ingredients efficiently.
• Coordinate with CDP, Sous Chef, and Head Chef during daily production.
• Complete assigned food preparation and cooking tasks within the required time.

Desired Candidate Profile

Minimum 2 TO 3 years of experience as a General Cook / Cook. Experience in catering, bulk cooking, central kitchen, hotel, restaurant, or food production preferred. Good practical knowledge of cooking and food preparation. Ability to work in a high-volume kitchen environment. Knowledge of basic food hygiene and safety practices. Physically fit and able to work flexible shifts. Ability to work as part of a kitchen team. GCC/Kuwait experience will be an advantage.
