Job summary

Capitex is recruiting for a Fraud Analytics role to support a Kuwaiti bank's 24/7 digital fraud operations. You will turn alert data into actionable insights, tune detection rules, and create MI dashboards. The role begins remote for two months and moves onsite to Kuwait City from month 3.

Join a fast-paced team, collaborate with L1/L2 analysts and a senior investigator, and relocate for the onsite phase to contribute to risk detection improvements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in data analytics within fraud or banking.
• Strong SQL is essential; Python or R for analysis a strong plus.
• Experience with BI/visualisation tools (Power BI, Tableau) and dashboards.
• Familiarity with fraud detection platforms (FICO Falcon, Actimize, SAS).
• Ability to present analysis clearly to stakeholders in English.
• Available for an August 2026 start and relocation to Kuwait City onsite from Month 3.

Responsibilities

• Analyse fraud alert and case data to identify trends, typologies, detection gaps and false positives.
• Support rule and threshold tuning on the bank's fraud monitoring platform and document proposed changes for approval.
• Design and produce operational MI: alert volumes, outcomes, SLA performance, fraud losses and prevented losses.
• Build and maintain dashboards and recurring reporting for the fraud operations leadership team.
• Support post-incident and thematic reviews with data deep-dives.
• Work with L2 and a senior investigator to convert observations into measurable detection improvements.
