Fitter – Al Ahmadi, Kuwait

A Fitter is needed for a leading organization in Al Ahmadi, Kuwait. The role will require the employee to be responsible for the maintenance and repair of equipment, vehicles, and machinery. The successful applicant should have a strong technical background and be able to quickly diagnose problems and provide solutions.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be a team player and have a good understanding of safety protocols. They should also demonstrate an ability to work independently and adhere to company policies. This is a full-time position with competitive salary of 900 KWD per month plus benefits package.

Key Responsibilities:
• Diagnose faults or malfunctions using testing devices such as oscilloscopes, electronic voltmeters or diagnostic computers
• Ensure all repairs are completed in accordance with manufacturer’s specifications
• Repair or replace faulty parts as required
• Assemble mechanical components such as engines, transmissions or other related parts
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on vehicles/machines according to company guidelines
• Provide accurate estimates for on-site work
• Maintain records of all repairs and services performed on machinery/vehicles
• Keep up-to-date with changes in technology for maintenance procedures


Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Automotive Technology or similar field preferred but not essential
• At least 3 years’ experience in repairing heavy equipment/vehicles/machines
• Knowledge of computerized diagnostics systems is an advantage
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions and procedure manuals
