Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Automotive Engineering, Fire Protection Engineering, or related discipline.
• Relevant professional experience in fire vehicle maintenance, emergency vehicle engineering, fleet management, or heavy vehicle maintenance.
• Experience with municipal, industrial, military, or airport firefighting vehicles is preferred.
• Ability to review technical specifications, drawings, datasheets, and manufacturer documentation.
• Support procurement activities by preparing technical specifications, evaluating vendor proposals, and participating in technical bid evaluations.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise on fire engines, rescue vehicles, airport rescue and firefighting (ARFF) vehicles, tankers, aerial platforms, and specialized firefighting vehicles.
• Review and evaluate technical specifications, drawings, datasheets, and manufacturer documentation.
• Support procurement activities by preparing technical specifications, evaluating vendor proposals, and participating in technical bid evaluations.
• Ensure fire vehicles comply with applicable safety regulations, operational requirements, and recognized industry standards.
• Recommend fleet upgrades, modifications, and equipment improvements to enhance operational capability.
• Support emergency response operations by providing technical assistance when required.
